4M are working on a hypothetical development proposal at the moment. Imagine if Westfields wanted to build a new shopping centre on Minchinbury Oval! What would be the effects? 4M have created a range of different action groups and are developing arguments around why the development should, or should not go ahead. Their groups include; Families, Wildlife, Local Shop Owners, Home Owners and the Minchinbury Jets Soccer Club. As part of the project, teams are doing research and collecting data to help them make their case! I wonder if they can stop the development?! What a day! Today 4M headed off on a trek to the Brewongle Environmental Education Centre in search of answers. Our friend the Tawny Frogmouth had died and we wanted to know how. We investigated the shelter, food and water supplies of poor tawny. After collecting data, we made our conclusions. Tawny was killed by eating a rat that had been poisoned. We were right! What excellent geographers 4M proved to be! A big thank you to the wonderful staff at Brewongle for helping to plan and execute an excellent day! https://brewongleeec.com/ It's time for a break! What a busy term we have had.
If you are lost for something to do during the holidays, here are a few activities to remind you of school!
